Adhesive Transfer Tape 120um
ATR2165-12
Celadon Adhesive Transfer Tape ATR2165 is a widely used adhesive for graphic attachment and industrial joining, known for its strong bond to metal and plastics with high surface energy. It offers temporary adjustability for precision placement on plastic surfaces and maintains its performance even after exposure to humidity and temperature changes. Sillar to 3M 9668, 3M 9653, 3M 9471, 3M7952MP, 3M 93015LE
Celadon Adhesive Transfer Tape is designed for permanently bonding plastics, foams, wood and textiles. The adhesive easily flows into crevices and voids without the addition of heat. Minimal pressure is required. This transfer tape features, a high tack acrylic that delivers good initial bond and full adhesion within 48 - 72 hours. Celadon ATR2166 has a equivlent or better proformance than 3M 93015LE
Ideal for Use on Fabricated Foams, Plastics, and Fabrics
The adhesive is designed to bond to foams, fabrics, metals, wood and most plastic substrates. This adhesive transfer tape resists UV and features good humidity, water, solvent and chemical resistance.Easily Flows into Crevices and Voids without Adding Heat
The design of Celadon Adhesive Transfer Tape creates a consistently strong bond across a broad range of products up to 250°F (121°C). The easy flow properties allow the adhesive to quickly bond to rough and textured substrates, including, foam, wood, textiles and more, without adding heat. The heavy polycoated Kraft paper liner makes this adhesive tape ideal for die cutting and converting processes.Understanding Adhesive Transfer Tapes
Celadon adhesive transfer tapes are pressure sensitive adhesives coated on a release liner, without a scrim or carrier. These adhesive tapes are more conformable than double coated adhesive tapes for applications with textured or irregular surfaces. For application, the tape is positioned, adhesive side down, to a surface and the liner is removed, exposing the backside of the adhesive to the joining surface.Bringing Better Ideas to the Surface through Science and Innovation
In our Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division, we apply the science of adhesion to deliver innovative solutions that improve the design and manufacturing processes of companies around the world. In the end, our technologies help customers like you deliver competitive products to the market faster and more efficiently.Features

Tissue Double Coated Adhesive Tape
DS1-ABW49100
Description During the lifetime of vehicle, boat or yacht static and dynamic stresses act upon the constructive bond between the object and the subject part. Celadon® Double Coated Tape creates a powerful bond even between materials with different surface characteristics, such as low surface energy, EVA, EPDM form, plastic parts connection. Celadon Tissue Double Coated Adhesive Tape is 0.15mm double coated with solvent base poly-acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive and backing with 110gsm silicon coated release paper liner. Application Techniques The bond strength of Celadon depends on the area of adhesive to surface contact developed during application and substrate type and surface conditions. For maximum bond strength, the surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Ideal tape application is accomplished when the temperature is between 21°C-38°C (70°F-100°F) and the bond is allowed to dwell 72 hours. Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 10°C (50°F) is not recommended. Moderate heat lamination (65°C at 72.5 psi for 1-5 minutes) is recommended on rough surfaces.STORAGE and SHELF LIFE The shelf life of Celadon Adhesive Transfer Tape ATR2165 is 6 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original packaging materials and stored at 21°C (70°F) and 50% relative humidity.
